Due opzioni popolari per migliorare la visione in condizioni di luce diverse sono i cannocchiali IR (infrarossi) e i cannocchiali termici. Ma qual \u00e8 la differenza tra i due e quando \u00e8 opportuno utilizzarli?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>L'occhio vede solo la luce riflessa.  \u00c8 cos\u00ec che vediamo gli oggetti: il sole o una fonte di luce ambientale rimbalza su un oggetto ed \u00e8 cos\u00ec che lo vediamo.  I cannocchiali IR funzionano allo stesso modo, ma il sensore utilizzato \u00e8 sensibile alle lunghezze d'onda superiori, appena al di sopra del campo visivo dei nostri occhi.  Alcuni animali sono in grado di vedere in questa banda superiore, come noi.  Pertanto, quando si utilizza un cannocchiale IR, \u00e8 necessario che l'oggetto rifletta una quantit\u00e0 di luce sufficiente per raggiungere il sensore del cannocchiale.  Questa pu\u00f2 essere fornita dal sole al crepuscolo, dalla luna di notte o da una torcia IR.  Lo svantaggio della torcia \u00e8 la portata limitata, che nel migliore dei casi non supera le centinaia di metri.  Inoltre, trattandosi di luce riflessa, si riflette su tutto, non solo sul bersaglio.  Pertanto, tutti gli oggetti nell'immagine hanno la stessa luminosit\u00e0 solo in base alla loro riflettivit\u00e0.  Quindi, il bersaglio e il fogliame circostante hanno la stessa intensit\u00e0. L'obiettivo \u00e8 identificato solo dall'immagine che si pu\u00f2 vedere in un'immagine monocromatica.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I sensori di portata termica, invece, si basano sulle lunghezze d'onda emissive della luce.  Ci\u00f2 significa che l'oggetto viene identificato in base alla sua temperatura.  Tutti gli oggetti emettono una certa quantit\u00e0 di calore, che il sensore termico rileva.  Un cannocchiale termico pu\u00f2 quindi essere utilizzato sia al buio completo che in pieno sole. L'unico criterio \u00e8 che vi sia una differenza di temperatura tra l'obiettivo e l'ambiente circostante.  Inoltre, non esiste un limite pratico di portata, soggetto solo all'ottica e alla sensibilit\u00e0 del sensore.  Tuttavia, questa tecnologia \u00e8 significativamente pi\u00f9 costosa dell'IR, poich\u00e9 i sensori termici sono pi\u00f9 costosi da produrre (almeno oggi) e le lenti necessarie sono in germanio o altri materiali esotici che passano attraverso il calore.  Il vetro non passa il calore.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Quindi, confrontando queste tecnologie,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\" type=\"1\">\n<li>L'IR \u00e8 buono se:\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>L'obiettivo \u00e8 a breve distanza e si dispone di luce ambientale o si desidera utilizzare una torcia IR.  Quindi la mattina presto o la sera presto in giornate limpide senza nebbia, pioggia o neve.\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Il bersaglio \u00e8 in piena vista, non dietro cespugli o altri ostacoli.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Avete un budget limitato.<br><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>La termica \u00e8 buona se:\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>L'obiettivo \u00e8 a lungo raggio.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Le condizioni di tiro non sono importanti, poich\u00e9 il sistema termico pu\u00f2 essere utilizzato in qualsiasi momento del giorno o della notte. I bersagli si trovano dietro cespugli o altri oggetti semitrasparenti.\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>La maggior parte dei cannocchiali termici \u00e8 in grado di aggiungere un colore falso al bersaglio e di vedere anche attraverso oggetti semitrasparenti come il fitto sottobosco.  L'elettronica del cannocchiale pu\u00f2 evidenziare il bersaglio con un colore visibilmente distintivo, come il rosso vivo, e colorare lo sfondo con colori meno evidenziati, come il verde, consentendo una facile acquisizione del bersaglio.  La termica pu\u00f2 vedere anche attraverso la nebbia, la pioggia e la neve.  L'unica limitazione della termica \u00e8 quando il bersaglio ha la stessa temperatura dello sfondo. In questo caso, l'acquisizione del bersaglio avviene in base alla forma e al movimento, poich\u00e9 si ha comunque un'immagine, ma non c'\u00e8 variazione di colore.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>Sia i cannocchiali a infrarossi che quelli termici possono essere strumenti preziosi per gli appassionati di tiro, e avere entrambe le opzioni nel proprio arsenale pu\u00f2 offrire la flessibilit\u00e0 necessaria per adattarsi alle diverse condizioni di illuminazione. Qualunque sia il tipo di cannocchiale scelto, assicuratevi di considerare attentamente le vostre esigenze e di fare ricerche per trovare l'opzione migliore per voi.
