Duas op\u00e7\u00f5es populares para melhorar a sua vis\u00e3o em diferentes condi\u00e7\u00f5es de ilumina\u00e7\u00e3o s\u00e3o as miras IR (infravermelhos) e as miras t\u00e9rmicas. Mas qual \u00e9 a diferen\u00e7a entre as duas e quando \u00e9 que deve utilizar cada uma delas?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>O olho v\u00ea apenas a luz reflectida.  \u00c9 assim que vemos os objectos, o sol ou alguma fonte de luz ambiente reflecte um objeto e \u00e9 assim que vemos esse objeto.  Os telesc\u00f3pios de infravermelhos funcionam da mesma forma, mas o sensor utilizado \u00e9 sens\u00edvel aos comprimentos de onda de banda mais elevada, imediatamente acima do alcance visual dos nossos olhos.  Alguns animais conseguem ver nesta gama superior, tal como n\u00f3s.  Assim, quando se utiliza uma mira telesc\u00f3pica de infravermelhos, \u00e9 necess\u00e1ria luz suficiente para refletir o objeto no sensor da mira.  Esta luz pode ser fornecida pelo sol durante o crep\u00fasculo, pela lua durante a noite ou por uma lanterna de infravermelhos.  A desvantagem da lanterna \u00e9 o alcance limitado de, no m\u00e1ximo, algumas centenas de metros.  E, como se trata de luz reflectida, reflecte-se em tudo, n\u00e3o apenas no alvo.  Assim, todos os itens na imagem t\u00eam aproximadamente o mesmo brilho com base apenas na sua refletividade.  Assim, o seu alvo e a folhagem circundante t\u00eam aproximadamente a mesma intensidade. O seu alvo \u00e9 identificado apenas pela imagem que pode ver numa imagem monocrom\u00e1tica.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Os sensores de alcance t\u00e9rmico, por outro lado, baseiam-se em comprimentos de onda emissivos de luz.  Isto significa que o objeto \u00e9 identificado pela sua temperatura.  Todos os objectos emitem alguma quantidade de calor, que o sensor t\u00e9rmico detecta.  Assim, um term\u00f3metro pode ser utilizado na escurid\u00e3o total ou em pleno sol. O \u00fanico crit\u00e9rio \u00e9 que exista uma diferen\u00e7a de temperatura entre o alvo e a \u00e1rea circundante.  Tamb\u00e9m n\u00e3o h\u00e1 limite de alcance pr\u00e1tico, apenas sujeito \u00e0 \u00f3tica e \u00e0 sensibilidade do sensor.  No entanto, esta tecnologia \u00e9 significativamente mais cara do que a IR, uma vez que os sensores t\u00e9rmicos s\u00e3o mais dispendiosos de produzir (pelo menos atualmente) e as lentes necess\u00e1rias s\u00e3o de germ\u00e2nio mais ex\u00f3tico ou de outros materiais que passam calor.  O vidro n\u00e3o atravessa o calor.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Assim, comparando estas tecnologias,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\" type=\"1\">\n<li>O IR \u00e9 bom se:\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>O alvo \u00e9 de curto alcance e o utilizador tem luz ambiente ou pretende utilizar uma lanterna de infravermelhos.  Assim, de manh\u00e3 cedo ou ao in\u00edcio da noite em dias claros sem nevoeiro, chuva ou neve.\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>O seu alvo est\u00e1 \u00e0 vista, n\u00e3o est\u00e1 atr\u00e1s de arbustos ou outros obst\u00e1culos.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Tem um or\u00e7amento limitado.<br><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A t\u00e9rmica \u00e9 boa se:\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>O alvo \u00e9 de longo alcance.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>As condi\u00e7\u00f5es de disparo n\u00e3o s\u00e3o importantes, uma vez que o Thermal pode ser utilizado em qualquer altura do dia ou da noite. Os alvos est\u00e3o atr\u00e1s de arbustos ou outros objectos semi-transparentes.\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A maioria das miras t\u00e9rmicas pode adicionar uma cor falsa ao seu alvo e tamb\u00e9m ver atrav\u00e9s de objectos semi-transparentes, como arbustos espessos.  A eletr\u00f3nica da mira pode real\u00e7ar o alvo com uma cor visivelmente distinta, como o vermelho vivo, e colorir o fundo com cores menos real\u00e7adas, como o verde, permitindo uma f\u00e1cil aquisi\u00e7\u00e3o do alvo.  A mira t\u00e9rmica tamb\u00e9m consegue ver atrav\u00e9s do nevoeiro, da chuva e da neve.  A \u00fanica limita\u00e7\u00e3o do sistema t\u00e9rmico \u00e9 quando o alvo tem a mesma temperatura que o fundo. Nesse caso, a aquisi\u00e7\u00e3o do alvo \u00e9 feita pela forma e pelo movimento, uma vez que continua a ter uma imagem, mas n\u00e3o h\u00e1 varia\u00e7\u00e3o de cor.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>Tanto as miras telesc\u00f3picas de infravermelhos como as t\u00e9rmicas podem ser ferramentas valiosas para os entusiastas do tiro, e ter ambas as op\u00e7\u00f5es no seu arsenal pode dar-lhe a flexibilidade para se adaptar a diferentes condi\u00e7\u00f5es de ilumina\u00e7\u00e3o.
